Dentistry Department

At Amba Health Centre & Hospital, the main focus is on patient care and not monetary gain. We named our organization ‘Manav Mandir’, the term elaborates that we respect the human body as a temple and we are here to do their seva. So, when a patient comes to the hospital they are more in a temple than in a hospital. We treat and prevent dental problems and teach young patients how to properly care for their teeth.

Our Dental Department Features

Root canal filling

Root canal treatment is one type of endodontic treatment. Dentists remove inflammatory or diseased pulp, clean and shape the root canal and fill and seal it. A crown or other treatments will safeguard and restore the tooth to full function when you return to the dentist. After restoration, the tooth functions normally.

Braces

We have a special team that has years of experience in braces. Braces can fix many oral problems like teeth that are crooked, gapped, twisted or crowded. Metal braces, ceramic braces, and clear guides like Invisalign® are some of the different types of braces. Wearing braces can improve the health, function and look of your smile.

Implants (with all range)

A dental implant is a type of artificial tooth root that is surgically implanted into the jawbone in order to support a bridge or prosthetic tooth.

Cancer biopsy (diagnosis by oral surgeon visiting)

Tissue biopsy is a way to get a sample of soft tissues from the mouth or lymph nodes by using surgery or special tools. A traditional tissue sample is the most accurate way to find out if someone has oral cancer.

Missing tooth implant and tooth bridge

Implants replace natural teeth that have been surgically removed. As the implant "roots" into the bone, it will support the new tooth crown after it has healed. When a tooth is lost, an implant crown can be created to fit over the implant and cover the gap.

Full mouth rehab treatment

At Amba Health Centre & Hospital, a full mouth rehabilitation in which restorative procedures combined with cosmetic dentistry has been deployed to offer a tailored smile makeover best suited for each individual.

FAQ

  • The treatment for tooth pain depends on the underlying cause. If a cavity is causing a toothache, our dentist will fill the cavity or possibly extract the tooth, if necessary. A root canal might be needed if the cause of the toothache is determined to be an infection of the tooth's nerve.

  • It is a gum disease that happens when you don't take care of your teeth and gums properly, which leads to tooth and gum loss and eventually, bleeding gums. A serious gum illness called pyria hurts the bone and soft tissue that support the teeth.

  • Visit your dentist, clean your teeth properly, and use sensitive toothpaste to relieve dental nerve discomfort. Hard scrubbing erodes dental enamel and damages gums and causes the tooth roots to be exposed. Brush at 45° with a gentle toothbrush.

  • For weak tooth roots, the best treatment is deep scaling and flap surgery.
